Yesterday I had two reasons to celebrate. One was to celebrate "Valentine's Day" (fyi, i don't have a boyfriend, hopefully not until I'm 18...or may be after university... So celebrated it with my parents and siblings...).
I never knew that people actually celebrate Valentine's Day so seriously until yesterday. Actually, my parents forgot that it was valentine's day but I remembered and knew that most restaurants were having special menus. When mum suggested Swensen's, I was delighted bcos I thought of Valentine's ice cream (if they had one). By the time we got there it was about 8.30pm. The restaurant was so packed with couples!!! We decided to leave after half an hour and headed to Centre Point. In the end, our Valentine's Dinner was at Pizza Uno. By the time dinner came, it was 10.15pm!! But it was ok bcos the food was good and I had my family to celebrate Valentine's Day with:-)...
The other celebration was the victory of my Rumah Biru for getting first place in the Merentas Desa that afternoon. My friends and I have been practising (5 kilometres) Merentas Desa during house practice. It was most exhausting walk ever!! Although mum had warned me that I may get my asthma if I were careful, I was confident that I would be ok. Unfortunately, during the second practice and half way through the cross-country, suddenly I became breathless. Thank God there was a teacher who followed us in her car. Another friend also had a similar attack. We both had to take a ride back to school. It was so dissapointing bcos we both really wanted to participate in the Merentas Desa.
Yesterday, mum warned me not to participate. I didnt want to disobey her in case I might just collapse half way. So I made myself comfortable among the seniors (that I didnt know) and gave my best cheer ever and support to Rumah Biru. We cheered, yelled and sang. It was so much fun.
By the time I got home, I was really tired and slept without having lunch but dont mind doing it all over again bcos it paid off!!...Yay!! Rumah Biru!!
Lots of luv,
Sara

My dear dear friends
Last weekend, I visited my best friend Alyssa to celebrate Chinese New Year with her and her family. I also met my other best friends - Leanne and Sharon. Unfortunately, the rest could not make it bcos they were still not back from the holidays.
We missed each other and have not met since Christmas. So, we were very happy to meet up again and made the most of the time we had. There was so much to do but so little time (we had about 3pm-6.30pm). So, we did everything - eating (and eating), sharing stories about our new schools (all of us are now in different schools) and of course gossipping!!
By the time we had to go, we said our "byes" and gave each other a hug. We know we'll not be able to meet until the next long break but we are grateful that we have the MSN and the blog to keep in touch.
So, ok my dear dear friends "keep in touch" and remember that you all are dear to my heart...
Lots of luv,
SARA

Yay!! It's holiday again !!!
Finally, it's holiday again after three weeks of school, homework and early mornings. Although I will not be going anywhere, I know exactly what to do. For instance, watch tv, wake up late, surf the net and stuff myself with oranges. At the moment, I can't get in touch with my friends (from puay chai) because they are busy with the Chinese New Year thingy but I'm looking forward to their open houses especially the ang paws. Yes!!
Xing Nian Kwai Ler ! Don't forget to fill your ang paws with lots of money...lol
HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR GUYS!!!!~

New Place, New School, New Rules
I started the new year with new resolutions ..why do i need this ?, i told myself. Becos I was going to a new place, a new environment. Ok. It's actually me and my new school. The thought really made me go nutts. I was really freaked out the night before the school started. I heard horror stories about the school, teachers and rules. Why did I allow mum to make me go this school? I wanna have fun after years of torture in puay chai ( ok ok i'm exagerating here) but really why cant we teenagers (hmm hmm not yet until august this year) have a bit of fun? I know there's no Beverly Hill 90210 in PJ but at least gimme a break..
So on the first day, my mum had to go with me to the school hall for orientation. There were speeches and speeches and speeches. It was about excellence, studies, performance and I discovered new words, KPI (???), CGPA (???) (What the....??). May be I was halucinating but i thought all the teachers looked at me with suspicion. Helpp!!
Later, when I reached my classroom, my jaw dropped. Mum laughed at me. My class is a cabin!! No aircond. No projector. No tv. But i told myself it must be ok because it cost RM500,000 and has 6 fans. Mum later told me to grateful. At least I have a class and of course (she keeps repeating) that I got into this "A list", cluster school.
The whole week went by with orientation, discipline and demerit system. Classes only started in the second week...but at the end of it all, I am grateful that I went to Puay Chai. May be I was fated to go this school that make you do endless school work...no point grumbling especially to mum. Her reply is expected - "it is good for you" Whattt???
So how was your first day at your new school??
